SurePoint Technologies, the leading cloud provider of practice management solutions for law firms, announced today the launch of its cutting-edge cloud-based time management system, SureTime. The new platform integrates with the existing SurePoint Legal Management System (LMS), allowing SaaS law firm clients to benefit from an improved time management experience.

Among other user-friendly offerings, the SureTime platform is accessible by smartphone, laptop or desktop. It allows users the option to make time entries by voice command and typing. It also automatically tracks time when users are working in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook. The powerful platform’s timekeeping tracks entries for future calendar items, eliminating the need for the user to do this on their own.

The software also boasts advanced search capabilities and a predictive feature, remembering recurring tasks and anticipating the clients and matters users are most likely to select when making entries. Compatibility with Google Workspace will be introduced in the future.

The innovative solution’s undemanding operation does more than just improve the experience of lawyers and law firm staff tasked with contemporaneously tracking their time. It also tracks performance through daily and monthly views and streamlines the billing process.

Until now, ROI has been a missing link when attempting to evaluate law firm business development efforts. Obtaining that data gives law firms the ability to better communicate with clients and prospects and understand more aspects of client relationships.

Elfman has won the Lifetime Achievement Award in the 2022 Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Awards program. Elfman started Onit more than 10 years ago with co-founders Smith, John Gilman, Onit’s vice president of products, and Jill Black, vice president of marketing for Onit. Under Elfman’s leadership as CEO, Onit secured a $200 million investment, acquired six companies and grew into a global business with more than 2,800 corporate legal customers and 600 employees.
